5 YEAR PRODUCT WARRANTY

  • If your Chaco product experiences a defect in materials or workmanship within 5 years of purchase, our experts will evaluate it, and we’ll replace or repair it.

REPAIR FIRST, ALWAYS

  • All products within our Z Franchise are repairable – just send them into our ReChaco facility for new straps or new treads

COMMITTED TO CIRCULARITY

  • We keep products and scraps out of landfills by repurposing excess materials into new uses - like playground fill

What is Not Covered Under Our Warranty

  • Normal Wear & Tear
  • Natural signs of use such as soles thinning, color fading, strap wear at the channels.
  • Improper Care or Misuse
  • Damage caused by pets, fraying from lack of care, odor issues or stuck straps due to buildup in channels are excluded
  • Fit or Comfort Issues
  • If straps are too tight or loose, discomfort in the footbed, or sizing concerns (the shoe is too large or small) are not considered defects
  • Anything purchased from Unauthorized Sellers:
  • This warranty applies only to products purchased from Chaco or authorized U.S. retailers. Claims for items bought from unauthorized sellers—including unauthorized websites—may be rejected.
  • Alterations or DIY Repairs:
  • Any repairs or modifications performed by anyone other than ReChaco void the warranty.

Chaco Limited Warranty

Wolverine World Wide, Inc., owner of the Chaco brand (“Chaco”), warrants its Chaco footwear to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the verified date of purchase or delivery (if later than the date of purchase) by the original end-user purchaser. If a Chaco product fails due to any material or manufacturing defect during this period then, after inspection and verification, we will reimburse the purchaser for repairs or replace it at our discretion.

This warranty only applies in the United States and it does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, accident, improper care, modification, or the natural degradation of colors or materials (including waterproofing and odor control) over time. Because Chaco cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to products sold by Chaco or authorized Chaco retailers, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Chaco reserves the right to reject warranty claims for Chaco products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including Chaco products sold on unauthorized Internet sites.

If you believe your Chaco product has failed due to a defect in materials or workmanship, you can contact Chaco Customer Service through the online damaged/defective form here or call (888) 211-1908 to make a warranty claim. The following requirements apply to the Chaco Limited Warranty claims process:

Proof of purchase indicating when and where you purchased the product is necessary to process all warranty claims.

We will contact you and issue a return authorization (“RA”) number and mailing instructions if physical inspection of your product is required.

All packages to Chaco should be shipped via insured parcel and are at your cost.

Warranty claims can take up to 6-8 weeks to process.

There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to products, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.

Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Under no circumstances shall Chaco be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of this warranty, breach of contract, or strict liability. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
