Performance
High quality and great support. - by , Jul 10, 2020

The flips, like all my Chaco’s are made of high quality and wear well. I love the arch support and maroon color. The only thing I would suggest is to add a little more length in the webbing. 1 inch would be an improvement. They can be a little hard to get on and are pretty snug. I find throughout the day my feet tend to swell so the tightness of webbing can become uncomfortable. I’m still pleased with my purchase though.

Great flips - by , Jul 10, 2020

I wear these flips around the house. They are very comfortable and have good support. It took awhile to break in-straps were tight at first.

Be prepared to break them in before wearing regularly - by , Jul 08, 2020

I bought this flip flop in the maroon color and that is vibrant. I like the color of the flip flop, it is feminine without being annoyingly so. Fit wise- I read other reviews and decided to size up, normally I wear a 9.5M. A 10 still feels a bit snug, honestly. The straps take some breaking in, as does the toe separator- it isn't forgiving or particularly comfortable until you get your callus for it. I have average width feet, don't typically have issues with width of shoes/flip flops- however these feel tight when brand new. I am sure, based on the material that the strap is made from, it will stretch some for a more comfortable fit. I am keeping these despite the initial poor fit issues, I like the way the sole feels on my foot- my arch feels supported for a flip flop. But I know it will take a lot of house and short term wearing before I'll wear these on the regular. Be prepared to break them in.

Tight Straps - by , Jul 08, 2020

Unfortunately, the straps were so tight I couldn’t get them on comfortably. I feel that if that wasn’t a problem, they would have worked wonderfully.

I was a little worried when I first put the on that they were too tight (compared to my old Chaco Flips), however after a few days they loosened up and now my favs.

Narrow - by , Jun 27, 2020

I find these to be very narrow and I have narrow feet. I maybe should have sized up, but I think either way the sides of my foot would be squeezed on the footbed. Not a classic chaco flip flop. Feels like an attempted upgrade for cute factor, but comfort was neglected.

Narrow compared to old flips - by , Jun 24, 2020

They seem like a great flip flop but they are too narrow for my feet and slightly short for every other size 8 chaco that i own. I have older chaco flips and they are much wider.

Not recommended for wide feet - by , Jun 24, 2020

These sandals are very comfortable with their excellent arch support! Unlike any I've ever worn! However, when I first put them on, the straps where pretty snug. They've loosened up a little with wear, but if you know you have a wider foot, these may not be for you or you might want to order a size up. Overall great quality and support.

Poor design - by , Jun 22, 2020

I have ordered the lowdown flip twice on Amazon hoping the first pair was just defective. I so wanted them to feel like the original Chacos Flip. Well, the toe post sits lower on the shoe which gives too much room from the toe to the top of the shoe and then my heel hangs off the back. The position of the toe post also makes the arch hit my foot above my arch. It would be the perfect length and arch would hit perfectly if the toe post were positioned correctly so that my foot could go further into the flip flop. Please, please, please bring back the original Flip
