We're inviting YOU to design the next
iconic Chaco sandal strap—featured on a
future
sandal release this fall!

The competition will run for 2 weeks, August
19 - September 1, 6pm ET. Once it ends,
Team Chaco will
review all submissions and
select 5 finalists. The finalists will be revealed
on our Instagram for public voting,
and the
community will choose the ultimate winner.
The design with the most engagement will
take the win!

COMPETITION DETAILS:

  • $5,000 cash prize - One (1) winner
  • One (1) entry per person
  • Open to U.S. residents, 13+ years of age
  • Submissions must be an original design
    created by you -
    hand-drawn, digital, or
    textile-based welcome
  • Team Chaco will collaborate with the five
    finalists to design the
    remaining sandal
    components, (i.e., buckle color, thread, etc.)
  • *All participants are required to be
    available and responsive
    via email from
    September 2 to 9, 2025 in case we email
    you back regarding making the top 5
    finalists.
