It's a classic for a reason

These are so comfortable and fit my feet perfectly! I love the arch support and the way they cradle my heels as well. They serve me well in all my river activities and beyond!

Just like my favorite old pair but new & pretty! The straps feel softer actually & doesn't slip as much in the break-in period as past pairs. In fact I don't feel like they need a 'break-in period' they're amazing right out of the box. I've owned many pairs & have decided that - - * Chacos are my soul-shoe! * I swim, hike a ton, explore, walk, I can even run in them if in a hurry, etc. They are the BEST all around adventure, travel & every day shoe by far!

I purchased this style last spring, on sale. After adjusting the straps numerous times, and after having worn them a few times I was bothered that I couldn't fully adjust the straps to be comfortable, and get the buckle over to the side of my foot. It sat squarely on top of my foot. My daughter was thinking of getting a pair of chaco sandals so I told her my experience with the pair I had and she suggested I consult with customer service. I did that. To solve the problem it was suggested that I send them in to have the strap lengthened a bit. I paid a postage fee to send them back and was charged about $25 for the repair, adding about $40 to the cost of my sandals. I got them back yesterday and just tried them on. The buckle still sits squarely on top of my foot, and instead of replacing the strap with original black, they replaced it with navy blue. I will never buy another pair of these sandals. I know many people swear by them. but I have not had a great experience with them and will end up donating them to goodwill.

overall a great sandal

I originally ordered a size 9, as I wear a size 9.5 in most shoes. the 9's ended up needing to be exchanged for a 10, which fit much more closely to that of a 9.5. I recommend ordering a size up in these sandals if you wear half sizes like me! Overall, these sandals are very comfortable and versatile. I'm satisfied with my purchase and they are worth the money!

I purchased this sandal about 3 months ago. It was a daily wear shoe to work and home. I just got home from a trip to Croatia and my feet are in so much pain. I have blisters on my both big toes and baby toes, heels, and side of my foot. I cant even put the sandal back on due to pain. Also, it cuts off all the blood flow to my big toe. It goes numb for a few days after 20 minutes of wear. I only wore the sandal for a 2 hour walk around one of the cities after my flight causing all these blisters. Do not get this sandal for any kind of walking longer than half hour.
