Best sandal ever I've had my chaos for a little under two days and the only time I haven't been wearing them is if I'm sleeping or taking a shower. They are so comfy. When I first saw them I was like"oh there is no way I will ever get those" but once I tried them on I knew I had to get them

Hiked 16 miles of the Grand Canyon in my Chacos Love this sandal especially after my hike of the Grand Canyon in them. I didn’t know what to expect when I decided to hike 16 miles of the Grand Canyon in my Chacos, but I gave it a shot. They performed better than expected-were comfortable and quick drying for sections of the Canyon where water crossed trail. I loved the fact that I could get my feet wet and know they would be dry within minutes. To take precautions against blisters I rubbed vasoline all over my feet pre-hike. That seemed to do the trick as my friends who wore socks and boots or shoes had blisters and I did not. My Chacos past the Canyon test and I am now a believer. I highly recommend this versatile sandal. #chaconation

Newer is not better I've been a dedicated Chaco wearer for nearly two decades. My old Z/1 sandals needed replacing after 7 years, so I went ahead and bought a new pair. Unfortunately, the other reviewers on this board and elsewhere are right--the high quality that has defined Chaco sandals no longer exists. The straps are flimsy and thin and way too long. The soles are no longer Vibram but some cheap imitation. The sandals feel and wear so differently than those in the past. I just can't recommend them anymore.

Ex-Teva working to love Chacos Twenty plus year Teva wearer and my daughter convinced me to try Chaco after suffering years of declining quality at Teva. They have lost all arch support, the footbed has lost comfort, and color schemes are earth tone bland at best. Enter Chaco and to date I am happy but mixed. While the arch support is much better and should conform to my foot pattern over time the footbed itself is not comfortable. The grip pattern is small squares and has worn my foot raw trying to break them in (I also tried on the Z/Volv and loved it's swirl pattern but that shoe had little arch support like my Tevas). Add to it the Classics' stiff rear strapping points in the heel and it has not been a smooth process. As still new to the shoe I am, under pressure from my daughter, still working to break them in but the process has not been quick. However, after a week of ownership I did take the Angel Trail a mile and half down and then back up the Grand Canyon and was very impressed with the ability to synch them tightly and loved the tread traction. If I can wear down the footbed grip pattern to comfort Tevas may be in the rearview mirror.

We are to happy to have you on Team Chaco! We usually recommend breaking your feet into the sandals at a slow pace, wearing only a few hours at a time. Let us know how it works out for you! Thank you.

Fits nice, but could use half sizes The sandal is nice, but still a bit too large and the size down is too small. Be nice to have half sizes by now.
