What's a LUVSEAT™?

Simply put, LUVSEAT™ is the curvature of a Chaco footbed. Place your feet firmly on the floor. Look at your feet. Are you wearing Chacos? Do they feel great? It's because your feet and body are properly supported and aligned by the LUVSEAT™ footbed.

How We Developed LUVSEAT™

With the assistance of a certified pedorthist, Gerhard Rill, OSM, CPed, we designed the contours of our footbed to control pronation and maximize performance. Our LUVSEAT™ footbed ensures a supported, comfortable stride in any activity, and as a result, has been awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). 

The APMA Seal of acceptance is intended to raise consumer awareness by identifying products of exceptional quality that are manufactured with comfort, health and safety in mind. Our shoes do a body good.

The LUVSEAT™ Fix, from Head to Toe

To absorb shock, the foot naturally pronates (flexes and rolls). Overpronation occurs when the foot rolls too far inward, resulting in stress on the muscles and tendons of the foot. Nearly 80% of the population overpronates, and this stress can radiate through the body causing a series of injuries. 
 
The Chaco LUVSEAT™ footbed controls overpronation and may help prevent or correct the following injuries:
