to design the
next iconic sandal strap.
This year, 6 winning designs will
earn a
spot on a future Chaco
sandal release.

Submit your original design between September 3rd and September 30th, 11:59pm ET.
12 FINALISTS
Team Chaco will review all submissions and select 12 finalists.
VOTE ON IG
The finalists will be revealed on our Instagram for public voting and the community will determine the ultimate winners.

The 6 designs with the most engagement will be crowned the winners!
COMPETITION DETAILS
- $5,000 First Place cash prize – one (1) winner
- $2,500 Second Place cash prize – one (1) winner
- $1,000 Third-Sixth Place cash prize – four (4) winners
- One (1) entry per person
- Open to U.S residents, 13+ years of age
- Submissions must be an original design created by you: hand-drawn, digital, or textile-based designs welcome. Design template here.
- Team Chaco will collaborate with the 12 finalists to design the remaining sandal components (i.e., buckle color, thread, etc.)
- All participants are required to be available and responsive via email from September 30 to October 9, 2026
