They really stink

This is an update of my review from earlier this month. I washed the sandals to get rid of the stink like with other Chaco’s and they stank coming out of the washing machine! I then soaked them in “odor ban” and washed them again and they were ok for about 4 days. Right now I don’t want to wear them because they stink too bad. Chaco, is there a new solution to the new stink?

Wish I could wear them but blisters aren't pretty.

First of all, I liked the way they look. They also seem to be well made so I would expect them to wear well. That's the good news. The bad news is that I tried two different sizes 10 and 11, and neither worked. The size 10s were a bit too short. The size 11s were better but there were issues. First, if I pull the adjustable straps to where they are comfortably snug on the front of my feet I ended up with a weird loop of loose strap at the back ready to grab hold of something a the worst possible moment. Second, and more importantly, the connection piece at the rear inside of the foot rubbed hard against my foot to the point where a couple of minutes walking around was enough to cause a blister. I'm sure that many people find Chaco products comfortable but they just didn't work for me.

Chaco’s be chaco’s

I’ve had many pair of Chaco’s, I wear them at work on pool decks and wear out the sole. These are Chaco’s ,they are a little more comfy out of the box but they are Chaco’s. They still stink after a couple of weeks and have to be washed. Ha ha

Great sandals. Very comfortable right out of the box. I have had the original Z sandal for 10 years but always felt they are a little hard. These new Z/Cloud are very nice. Great buy on sale!

Had little expectations since I bought this on clearance. Had a toe strap before, but realized I love these w/o the toe strap so much better. Well worth the money.
