Great adventure slides but difficult break in - by , Apr 23, 2019
4/ 5 Stars
Pros Goes on like a slide but stays on like a sandal Rugged - built for my adventurous lifestyle Looks great and fits nicely Cons Very difficult break in especially around my second toe on each foot. I’m suffering through it now. For a slide, it doesn’t slide on so easily. I have to play around with the fit of the straps They were a gift but I think they are kind of expensive

Ever since I started wearing chacos I’ve wanted them to bring back a backless version and here it is!!! So stoked on them that I had to order another pair.

Been waiting so long for Chaco to come out with another backless sandal!! Super stoked on the comfort and the straps don’t pull my toes apart like mentioned in some other reviews. Can’t wait to try these out guiding and hiking around!

I've been waiting for the slip on, flip flop style to come back! I have two pair of the old school ones hoarded in my closet. Wearing one pair out now!! I am a woman and I got the men's size 8!!! So awesome and they're Woodstock too!! ✌LOVELOVELOVE

I have been waiting to for Chaco to bring the "chongs" back forever!! I have 3 pair that have been re-strapped, re-soled, etc numerous times over the past 20 years. They are my all time favorite sandal. I wear them everywhere! I got my first pair to river guide in. They are still my river shoe of choice. I also wear them to hike (grand canyon rim to rim numerous times) for cross fit, coach, walk, & play. The single toe loop on the other chaco styles always pulls tight when I wear them. The double strap on this style stays put. The additional straps over the top of the foot help it stay on better than regular flop flops & keep the foot in place. The open back makes for easy on and off. HOORAY for the comeback!

Wanted to love these! Pulls your toes apart. - by , Mar 15, 2019

I wanted to love these as I've been waiting years for Chaco to produce another men's backless sandal similar to the Zong they used to have. Received these today and I'm sad they will not work for me. The way the front straps are oriented pulls your toes apart between your big and second toe. I live in Chacos and other sandals with straps or posts between my toes, having something there isn't the issue, it's the fact that the straps pull my toes apart even without the straps being too tight. Not a good sensation. Saw another review also commenting on the straps pulling your toes apart, so I'm not alone in the observation. I'll keep hoping for a re-release of the Zong sandal, or a similar backless style and will be sending these back.

Woodstock 50 - by , Mar 12, 2019

I am new to this brand, but saw them in my local REI store here in Rochester NY. Tried to get the prodeal on the New Native Blue, but it wasn't available online. However since we had them in store I had to have them. I'm a size 8 in men's, and the 8 fit a bit smaller than I would have liked, so I went with the 9. Can't wait to add them to my Woodstock outfit for August 16,17, and 18th. You can see it once I add pics to my IG @1ejd3 Thank you Chaco.

Old friend returns - by , Feb 16, 2019

I've been gluing my old ones together for the last three years, hoping to see this style return. Straps are now internal, which may increase the sandal's life. Same great construction. Seems more solid than my old ones. Straps between toes seem to spread my toes wider than I'm used to. Not bad, but am hoping I can better adjust them and that the straps will stretch just a bit. A new version of an old friend.
