Take the road less traveled to the beach less visited. The well-built Playa Pro leather sandal is the most durable three-point sandal out there. Reinforced and bonded under the midsole to outlast aggressive terrain.

It takes 3 gallons of water to dye a full yard of fabric. So we worked with e.dye® Waterless Color System to dye ours without using a single drop. Our partnership with e.dye® introduces vibrant hues into our sandal straps while eliminating a wasteful step from our manufacturing process. By reducing our water and energy consumption, Chaco is taking important steps forward in the march towards sustainability.
UPPER:
  • Full grain saline solution leather upper
  • Leather upper lining
  • e.dye® polyester jacquard webbing toe post

MIDSOLE:
  • Men's-specific dual density LUVSEAT PU midsole with Cloud cushioning
  • Bio-Based PU made by incorporating 22% soybean oil into the compound

OUTSOLE:
  • Non-marking ChacoGrip Plus rubber compound
  • 1.5mm lug depth

I love the look and I love the comfort. I won’t lie, breaking them in was a chore but well worth it.

Over the years I have purchased just about every high-end leather flip-flop I could find, But they all fell short of my expectations. I pretty much live in flip-flops in summer, so need to be able to dress them up or dress them down, go camping, swimming, hiking etc. These feel very solidly constructed. The foot bed is not leather, but for my purposes that is just fine, because they need to be washed off constantly, and leather gets slippery when wet. Very comfortable sole, aggressive tread. Nice leather strap. My only concern is whether they will stretch out too much after wearing in water. Remains to be seen, but I have high hopes. At this point definitely recommend.
