Sandals were correct length but I was not able to adjust webbing anywhere near close enough to feel secure before running out of adjustment. Very clunky feeling for what is supposedly athletic wear, felt like Herman Munster. As thick and heavy as,the sole is, they really weren't very soft. Bought for paddleboarding at the beach, website recommends to soak in fabric softener after every time wearing in sand, really?? I returned them

I have had two other pairs of Chaco's and liked them. Love these! Love having the heel strap and not having the toe strap. Great fit and the wider straps make them super comfortable. Highly recommend them!

my 15 years older sandles are starting fail, the new wider straps are more comfortable and the area on either side of the heal are a little wider, I had to grind a small part of that area away to make the old ones comfortable

I've owned over a dozen pairs of Chaco's over the past 20 years or so (both Z/1s&2s) and prefer the Z/1 style, but this was the first pair of clouds and my first with the mega strap. Since I have big feet (size 15) I really like the mega strap and will probably never go back to the conventional one. Since I am getting a little older (late 50's now) I also loved the extra cushion of the softer sole. I do have a little problem with the sizing, and that's reason for only 4 stars. . . the length is perfect but I have a normal width/volume foot and I find that this model has a little too much strapping. When I pull the strap as tight as possible it's uncomfortable loose around my ankles for walking. To remedy this - I pull up on the strap across my forefoot (over the knuckles of my toes) and that makes it comfortable for walking. However, after a short period of time the strap redistributes itself and I have to repeat the process.

The Mega strap is as good as it gets. I've had a number of sandals in the past (Z1 and 2) and the these with the cloud footbed are by far the most comfortable. Now my wish list would be the Z Canyon with the Mega strap. Chaco s are not available in Europe any more. I am happy I made the effort to get them to me.
