Love them, but could use some improvements. - by , Apr 18, 2016

I love these shoes and wear then everyday. I am a huge Chaco fan, and almost wear them exclusively, but I admit, I was a little disappointed in these (even though I do love them). They aren't as supportive as my Z 2's and my flops. In fact, when I take them off at the end of the day, my feet are surprised when I slide into my other Chacos as I have to readjusted to the higher arch support. My other issue is that the back of the shoes comes up too high along my Achilles tendon. Instead of dipping down like many hiking or athletic shoes do, they bump up. As a result, I can't wear my no-show socks with these as it really bothers my skin.

So close...and yet... - by , Apr 03, 2016

These are SO close to what I want: a supportive sneaker that doesn't look like a running shoe or a hiking boot. Something I could walk in for miles (how do Europeans walk so far on light sneakers??). I am a nine in just about every brand (technically, an 8.25 on one foot and 8.75 on the other with D width). The nines on these feel a little sloppy, and my heel slides, although not uncomfortably. The 8.5s fit PERFECTLY...except once I start walking, the shoe "breaks" across the toes and induces chafing and pressure instantly. The nines do too, but not quite as painfully. It looks like the way the rubber around the toe is, and where the underseam of the vamp is, is just a recipe to force the shoe to only break in one place and dig in. I'm not sure this is something that can break in, so I can't decide if I'll keep them. Super bummed...because the color, style, ideas, width and everything else is exactly what I want, but pain is a dealbreaker.

I would have preferred more padding underfoot.

Despite being a lightweight shoe, it offers great support. I wear them from sun-up to sun-down and couldn't be more comfortable. Don't miss out.

but the colors chosen need improvement. the babydoll ahd a puke green strap that many did complain about. in that many of us with very damaged feet rely on the quality of shoes why isn't there more attention to the colors. i wear them to work with casual dress pants. with the exception of the blue how can i wear these colors every day. I'm a young 61 yr old professional and would look and feel unsightly. Balck...ever hear of soft black? hello designers..are you listening?

The colors are more gorgeous in person. I'm so glad I picked the color I did, it's awesome. As with EVERY Chaco product they are made solid and fit well. The support they offer is beyond anything I've ever wore. I won't wear another brand of shoe. I have 2 pair of their hiking shoes, and 4 pair of the sandals. If it isn't Chaco it doesn't go on my foot period!!!!

Supportive and stable - by , Dec 25, 2015

I've been wearing these shoes for about two months daily now, I work continuously on my feet on a concrete floor. My feet now know the difference between a supportive and unsupportive shoe. These shoes are fairly high profile, not anything close to a minimal shoe, but the best way I can describe it is it feels solid. Solid, stable, supportive. Your foot doesn't move around loosely in the shoe because it's cradled everywhere it needs to be. I really like these shoes, I almost want a second pair just so I'll never be without such a well fitting shoe. I know it's due to Chaco's tried and true LUVseat cradle that gives the shoe a step above the rest. As far as fit goes, Chacos have always fit larger on me, the sandals, and the shoes are no different. I typically where a size 10 in women's shoes, sometimes 9.5, but I have never worn a 9. I am strictly a 9 in Chaco. I'm not sure why, and don't go off my call, because I know plenty others that they do fit true to size.

This shoe is so comfortable! - by , Nov 03, 2015

Everything was great with this shoe. My only hesitation was that the colors didn't appear as they really are. I was expecting the shoe to be gray/yellow. They are actually gray/green. But, they are still attractive and so comfortable that it didn't matter!

I have a lot of foot pain. Chaco brand shoes are the only shoes that don't hurt.
