The greatest shoe ever made
O. My. Goodness. So boots. and my feet. Don't play well together. My feet literally turn purple and it gets gross. I won't bum you out with the gruesome details. Also I loose feeling in my feet about 2.5 miles in with regular boots - that is when they start turning purple. Chaco sandals saved my life. The arch is great and my feet feel fancy free. . . .only they were great for summer. Until the day I tweeted Chaco complaining that I needed winter wear - guess what Chaco told me????? YOU KNOW WHAT I BOUGHT. No purple feet - no gruesome ickyness and only happy rested feet for MILES. I am so thankful I wish I could express it in words that I cannot find. So simply put. THANK YOU.

Great winter boot
The Dixon high boot has met my expectation as a good looking winter boot that I can wear to work or for any casual occasion and them some. In dark brown looks very nice. I have taken it through deep (4in) of snow and it has held up nicely with no water intrusion. It should take on salty city sidewalks like nothing all while looking stylish.
Some complaints are:
-the laces are too long and hang around too much. They are also somewhat elastic and I fear the elasticity will wear out eventually
-getting in the boot is a struggle, but I guess its a necessity given the design of the inner boot, which does a great job of keeping you dry and comfortable.
-it has a pronounced arch which I guess supports your feet but to me after a while of standing around my feet arch began to pain a bit, I have low arch support, almost flat foot.
-the type of leather use can scratch easily so be careful around sharp objects and don't scratch it or it will leave a mark.
I love the boot and recommend it if you're looking for something stylish to use during the winter/fall season.
