Built with salt-resistant leather and enhanced traction diamond lugs for aggressive grip on snow and ice, the Borealis Tall is the all weather vehicle you’ve been waiting for.

  • Seam-sealed waterproof construction
  • Waterproof coffee based charcoal fleece lining releases heat back to the body and provides natural anti-odor/anti-microbial properties
  • Faux Fur collar: 70% acrylic + 30% polyester

Great Boots!

These are the best boots! I have bone spurs and were concerned about the toe fit but these boots weren’t too narrow for me. I wear them hiking and for just every day. I noticed in these my back hurt less, my feet hurt less, and I was able to stand for longer amounts of time. Living in the PNW they work great with rain. One day out hiking I even stood in a river just to see and NO WATER in the boot even submerged. They go with just about any outfit. My only wish is that I could wear them year round. They do scrunch around the ankle and rub but I formed callouses so it’s not a problem. If you’re contemplating these, try them!

Not waterproof

I wanted to love these, but after walking on icy sidewalks in Park City (hardly even in snow) my socks were soaked when I got back to the house. Thankfully I was wearing wool socks to keep the moisture away from my feet. Overall these boots are comfortable and pretty stylish, but should not be marketed as waterproof. I've worn them on cold weather hikes in dryer conditions and they were great.

Bummed

I loveeeeeeeee chacos. Been eyeballing the boot selections for years and was excited to get these. I always ways take a 8.5 and they came too big. And fit soo oddly around my ankle knob the material was slouching and sitting on my ankle know weirdly.and even if the boot were a hair to big they fit so goofy. I still wanna try other boots cause I love chacos but am so bummed about the fit..maybe a 1.2 size smaller would.of helped. I am very active outdoors and was so bummed they didn't fit right...

Chaco Winter Boots

I love, love, love chaco! I have these winter boots, a pair of Barbary boots, and sandals. They are comfortable, durable, and waterproof (as stated in the description). I live in a valley called Fraser located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy being outside any season, making Chaco the perfect go to shoe for me since they have so many seasonal selections perfect for adventure. My only complaint about these boots is that they are not as warm as I hoped. I have had them for three months now and I have gone snowshoeing in them quite a few times. When the outside leather and base gets cold, my feet start to get a bit cold as well. Other than that, I love these boots and wear them often!
