Was not disappointed

I read some of the reviews and was a little leery. I have issues with the arches in my feet and require a stiff arch support. The Chaco sandals provide exactly what I need. The foot bed is amazing. However I can't wear sandals through the winter. I bought these tennis shoes hoping they would work. Here's my take on them. Cons: 1. When I first put them on I was somewhat disappointed because the arch support is not as obvious as the sandals are. 2. I have a wider foot and these seem to run a bit narrow. Pros: 1. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these have been for my feet. I wore them 3 days in a row all day without arch pain. I normally cannot wear tennis shoes for more than an hour without serious pain. Ultimately I do wish they came in a wide and that is a suggestion I hope Chaco takes into consideration. The only pain I have at all is from my pinky toe rubbing and from the shoes squeezing me tighter than my feet generally like. Both issues I believe will clear up with time. I am just grateful I can wear tennis shoes without tears.
