!Chacos at the Taj!

I live in Hyderabad, India for three months on a humanitarian trip, working as a team member for an NGO named Help International with 8 others. Working on many different projects, my team and I focused on sustainability as we taught English classes, painted murals, constructed borewells, and more.
We were fortunate enough to be able to plan weekend trips to places like Goa and Bangalore, and one 6 day venture out to Delhi. As part of our trip to Delhi, we took two of those days to head out to Agra and see the Taj Mahal.
If ya'll didn't know.....The Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal after she died during child birth. It 22 years and 20,000 laborers to complete, and was built with nothing but the finest gems and marble. Not to mention that it was built with perfect symmetry. Probably one of the reasons we like to look at it so much. But I guess the symmetry only lasted until the emperors dummy son buried him next to his wife.....
Anyways, if you ever get the chance to visit the Taj, keep an eye out for the view when you get to see the tomb framed by the gateway entrance. I thought it one of the prettiest. And I suggest you wear your chacos the entire time. I sure did and it was the comfiest decision I made the whole time I was there!
