Color (my Chacos) Rad

On a brisk, rainy Charleston, SC morning, I drug myself (and my Chacos) our of bed and trudged over to the Charleston Color Me Rad 5k. Now, I'm no runner, but I am a great volunteer. Stationed at the purple cornstarch, I was ready to attack unsuspecting runners on this strenuous 5k. But as it turns out, I ended up attacking myself more than the runners. Standing face first over a box of purple cornstarch was exactly what it sounds like: messy. My lips, hair, eyelashes, and feet were dyed purple. Lucky for me purple is an excellent color for me because after 3 showers and a baking soda rub, my skin was dyed purple for the next 48 hours. I proudly showed off my new do around the streets of Charleston and I of course sported my purple cornstarch Chaco tan that prompted a lot of questions on the chic streets of Charleston. I mean, has no one ever seen a purple college student before?!
