Ever year my dad and I head out west for an annual rafting trip with his buddies. We load up the frame, tubes, dry boxes, ice chests, dry bags, etc and drives 18 hours for a 4-5 day trip! These Chacos were purchased for my first trip in 2000 and are still going strong! The have survived many moves across the country, cactus spines poking through, and many many washes in the river. It's probably time for a new pair.
