Chacos in Wadi Rum

I've worn my Chacos all over the world, but my favorite photo is this one from the Wadi Rum, in Jordan. The landscape is sparse and beautiful, with huge mountains rising from the valley floor. It's famous for its use films like Lawrence of Arabia and Prometheus, it should be famous in its own right.
After a long day of camel riding, driving an ancient Land Rover, and climbing sandstone arches, we settled into a bedouin tent for food and shelter. The campsite was at the foot of a thousand foot cliff, and I just had to approach the base. I set off alone, scrambling over huge boulders, and out of earshot of the camp. My Chacos held true, and I made it up and back, but not before capturing a panoramic shot of my triumph.
