In January 2012 we decided to adopt a second dog to join our small but growing family. We searched the Humane Society listings, private shelters in the area and nationwide Doberman adoption website for weeks looking for the perfect dog and that is when we found Bailey. Bailey is a beautiful Doberman/Chocolate Lab mix who had an extreme rough start to life. She was abandoned as a puppy and adopted then immediately returned to the shelter 3 times before she reached 1 year old. She was then placed on the "kill list" at the shelter but was rescued in the nick of time. We got her home and she adjusted well to our other dog and to her new surrounds but we soon discovered her love for Chacos. She chewed through 3 pairs in a matter of weeks but thanks to Chaco and the re-chaco option, my husband and I can continue to put many more miles on our Chacos!!!
