The second week of summer, my husband and I woke up on a Sunday, looked at each other and said, "Let's go to Colorado this week!" So we woke up at 5am a couple days later and drove all the way to Boulder, stayed the night and drove to Estes Park for hiking and camping at Rocky Mountain National Park! (Hitting 5 o'clock traffic with mountains in view isn't so bad) The best hike was to Gem Lake.
