Holi, the Hindu festival of color and the oncoming summer, is celebrated heavily in Jaipur, India, where I studied this past semester. Residents roam the streets wishing each other happy Holi with a smear of intensely colored powder. My tan lines, already bright from months in nothing but Chacos, stood out against my rainbow feet.
