A measure of time

I've had my Chaco's for 5 years. I love them of course!
The seasons are measured in Chaco season and non-chaco season(but now you sell boots isn't that great?!)
My chacos have taken me up Pikes Peak, a fourteener in Colorado and on endless camping trips around the mountains of Colorado and Utah. They are pretty much inseparable from me. The only other pair of shoes that might come close are my Vibram Five Fingers.
Finally after 5 years of nearly everyday wear the heel riser busted. We had been out celebrating the beginning of October, fall in the mountains of Northern Utah is worth celebrating!
On the walk home a friend stepped on the back of my shoe. I might have been too inebriated to notice, and I might have been convinced I'd put my shoes on the wrong feet because they just didn't feel right. This morning I discovered they were broken and immediately filled out the Rechaco information. I can't live without them. They will sail away Monday to the blessed saints of Rechaco to be fixed and to get new webbing cause hey, I might as well.
