I love these boots. I just got them for Christmas and took them on a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. They kept my feet toasty and comfortable on my flights and they were so warm when I was walking in the snow. After a day of skiing, taking off my ski boots to slip my feet into these boots was a heavenly feeling. I ordered the same size of my Z2's and they fit perfectly with thin socks and thick wool ones as well.

These are a great boot. If I had gotten them in the proper size I'd love them even more! Unfortunately, I wore them before I realized they were to big! So, for those who may be interested in purchasing these boots, get the proper size for yourself. If your foot is a size 7, then order them in size 7, etc. They tend to run wide so you could still get your foot into them with heavy socks if you need to.

I can't say for sure if my feet were made for Chacos or Chacos were made for my feet - but they have seen me through plantar faciitis, miles and miles of walking - was thrilled when I saw these boots. Been needing a winter boot that I could pull on and just wear all day. I walk a lot 2-6 miles a day. The arch in the boot, of course was perfect, the heel cup, also perfect, the pretty, warm wool top, perfect as well. The leather shoe part was so stiff that even after 3-4 days of trying to break in inside the house, they were causing pain, I gave up and sent them back :( -- I love my PedSheds and wonder ToeCoop - maybe if the leather were more like ToeCoop and PedShed and no quite as rigid, I'd try again. I love the whole idea of them. I wish they hadn't made me feel like I had Herman Munster feet (no flex).
