Best Sandals I've Ever Owned
By LoveMyChacos (Midwest) 6/23/2011

Most Helpful Positive Review

Hands down, these sandals are the best I've ever owned. They are the only sandals that fit me to perfection because they are incredibly adjustable. They are rugged and can handle anything. After breaking them in I wouldn't ever buy anything else, and I've tried other brands before. I was a fan of Tevas until they started hurting my feet more and more because of increased standing on the job. Now I can be on my feet for hours without any pain wearing Chacos. I will never buy another brand of sandal again, only this. Worth every penny! At a recent Youth Conference I went to, I found two other "Chaconians" by noticing their sandals, and we talked about how much we love them!

I Wanted To Love This Sandal. :(
By Anonymous 4/11/2014

Most Helpful Critical Review

I love everything about this sandal, except the reality of it. The footbed feels great and fits great. The straps cut and blister the bottom of the tops of both my big and little toes on both feet. I have tried the straps both loose and tight. I have adjusted and re-adjusted, I have worn them solidly from multiple hours to all day to get them broke in. Nothing has worked. The best part of my day is taking them off. I hate that. I spent good money and was so hoping to be a convert. I wanted these shoes to work and needed them to work. They didn't. Chaco's customer service could care less and said "They just won't fit everyone". The offered no resolution, no exchange or anything other than to tell me to try to wash the straps and add some fabric softener to them. They seem to give great service when you tell them what you want to hear, but when you have a complaint, they won't make it right or get out of their comfort zone to make you a happy customer. I was so hoping for a different experience. Yes, I have called the corporate office multiple times. I would have been a really loyal customer. Sad. :(

Chaco's Reply: Often times the straps of our new sandals will take some break in time, to become soft and supple. This process can be expedited by washing your sandals, but the best way would be to give it some time, and let your feet get used to our strap design.

Comfortable, but takes some getting used to
By Anonymous 6/26/2015

I've only had these a couple days, but I think they are going to work great for me, however they are just taking some getting used to. I normally wear thong sandals, so these feel much more supportive, but seem a little clunky. Also, the high arch feels a bit strange at first, and I almost think they would be even more comfortable if the heel was just slightly higher in the back. I do really like how the straps are adjustable. I had to do a lot of tweaking and adjusting, but now they fit perfect. It would be nice if these were offered with a slightly higher rise in the heel. I normally wear a 7.5, and the size 7 was perfect.
