The Best Sandals Period!
By Reed 5/18/2011

Most Helpful Positive Review

When I first got these sandals, I put them on with high expectations out of the box! Chaco's are not that way! I was upset when i found that the sandals were killing my feet! My fellow chaco owners told me to stick with it! ... I did, and after about a week, my feet were in sandal bliss! These sandals have more grip and support then anything else on the market period! I can wet wade, hike, or go to work comfortably in the Z2 Vibram Pros! A must have for anyone who spends their life in Tevas!

Smaller than expected
By TSchwett 6/7/2012

Most Helpful Critical Review

I purchased these chacos about 2 weeks ago. I've worn them at least an hour everyday since then. Each time I wear them they really bother the sides of my feet, due to being so narrow. I wish I would've known that they were so narrow--I definitely would have ordered a unaweep or yampa sandal in wide. Just a word of warning to those looking at purchasing this sandal.

Chaco's Reply: We are sorry to hear about the fit issues with your footwear. We will be in contact soon to offer sizing suggestions.

Roofless Tanks
By Anonymous 3/29/2015

I went on a 5 month trip to Peru and Ecuador for a little volunteer work and to check out the place and ended up ditching the boots about 2 months in relying entirely on these guys. They've seen the coast, 5000 masl in the Andes, and some pretty dense jungle of the Amazon in Ecuador. The webbing eventually broke after almost 3 months of hard use, miles a day, and regular hikes with huge elevation changes after a year and a half of pretty regular use.. I never hesitated to huck it through any situation (not involving heavy thorns) and they handled everything. The webbing broke during a long night I barely remember so I can't really blame the shoe too much. I'm currently in the process of getting them repaired or replaced so needless to say, I stand behind this product 100%. I'd highly recommend dropping the regular shoes for a while to see what these can actually handle. The rubber is ridiculous at holding to wet rock, by the way. Second to no shoe/boot rubber I've tried stepping on wet rock with. I'd like to add that I have really wide feet and small toes. Normally I wear a 10.5 for the width and have a little too much space for the micro toes but I went and tried on a few pairs and the 10 worked best. I should probably be wearing a 10 normally so I'd say they run fairly true to size, maybe a little big, but there's so much room to adjust that I've found no issues with size and my odd feet.

Chaco's Reply: Thanks for choosing Chacos for your travels! Our sandals are not just a shoe, they are a lifestyle.
