Rumspringa "running around"
By Anonymous 4/10/2014

Most Helpful Positive Review

Rumspringa, or “running around”, is the term used to describe the period of adolescence Amish experience, to try and understand the world around them, and then make a choice of joining their society or choose another path. My first pair of flip flops as an adult was Chaco flips. I found them cheap somewhere. I didn’t realize how great they were, because those were the only flip flops I had ever experienced. After five faithful years, I lost one of the sandals, so I decided to buy some new flip flops. My first experience in my flip flop Rumspringa was with some flip flops I purchased from an outdoor store. It didn’t take me long to realize that I was going to need to replace my Chaco flips, with Chaco flips. I did just that, I went to the store and purchased my Flips Eco Tread at full price. It was worth it. My “Rumspringa” was over; I was converted. The formed foot bed is eternally supportive and will not give out on you. The slim profile seems minimalistic but is very practical, and comfortable. The lay of the straps make for a secure feel, when walking along trails. I love them!

Footbed great, strap not so much...

Most Helpful Critical Review

Love Chacos and love my Z2's. Wanted the Flips for some lower profile Chaco comfort. The foot bed is lower profile than the sandals and very comfortable. Unfortunately the strap is too tight around my foot. I figured they would loosen up but they haven't after multiple wearing in wet and dry. Don't have a problem with flip flops generally so it seems to me that the strap length may be the problem. I don't think there is a wide in the flips, maybe that's what I need. Anyway, when you try them on, if the strap feels too tight move on.

comfortable, durable, the wide version is also slightly longer than the regular, if you want a half size up, go with the wide. highly recommend.
