I'm a advertising commercial photographer so I'm pretty hard on footwear with my 50+ lb packs! There are products that when you buy them....BOOM...You know you don't have to buy another pair unless extreme disaster strikes. These are one of those products. Durable. Comfortable. Cool Recently took a month long, 4 country trip to Africa with a 65lb camera pack. I've never been much of a sandal guy but I picked up a pair and found these sandals live up to the hype! After the month with that heavy pack I have every confidence in the sandals as they shared the load with some serious hiking shoes. Totally fine. Great for hiking, walking, river rafting. You know when you have to replace Chaco's because they have been worn out.....NEVER

I am the aquatics director for a Boy Scout camp that has over 2000 campers a season! I was buying no name cheapo sandals that broke within weeks. 5 years ago I decided to buy my first pair of Chacos. I went basic, got black and they are still with me today.. I wear them every summer at camp.. Sole is still in amazing shape straps still look brand new and these things are on the camp trails daily. They provide great support and traction in the water and I am even able to swim in them. Last summer I got bored with the solid black and wanted a change so over the winter I got a new pair of green! The black are still in great shape and I cant see myself retiring my first pair of chacos this early in their life. All in all great quality sandals that last and last! My campers even buy them now!

From the streets of Birmingham, Al to the peaks of many mountains in Colorado, Utah, California and the lower Appalachian Trail. I’ve been wearing the Z/2s since back in 04. I have 3 pairs - two unaweep soles & one diamond stealth sole. Love them! I’ve turned on lots of people to chacos since then and I dont think any of them have had any complaints! I’ve had mine resoled 3x and chaco always does a great job! I wish the adhesive were a bit stronger! at times I’ve had them become separated but I usually wear out the tread by that time! only once have I had to have the same sole - re-adhered.
